Casa Fuente at Caesers. Best mojito money can buy...it's a lot of money though. Also, I like the Davidoff store at the Venetian as they have a good selection. Also, their prices are not too bad compared to some other stores on the strip.

NAILED IT! casa is it's own thing, and well worth it (coffee is killer as well!), but the davi shop at the venitian had a decent stash, at decent prices, and some cool people when i went.

Besides the obvious spots (Casa Fuente, Rhumbar, etc) ... here are a few other ideas on places to check out and places to ignore. I had to go to Vegas a lot for work, believe it or not, and visited a lot of cigar shops in the area. Below are the ones that I went to several times (6-8 times each).

Check out:
Tobacco Town - a "locals" type of spot with a decent selection when I was there 1.5 years ago.
En Fuego - another "locals" type of spot that I went to. The selection isn't great but I liked the lounge area and the company. I really liked the sandwich shop next door which had a killer turkey, stuffing, cranberry like sub.

Ignore:
Las Vegas Cigar Company - I actually like talking to the owner a lot but it's a dump and really only sells their own cigars which are actually pretty good.
Havana Cigar Company - a "locals" place that one time was a tourist location. Terrible selection but really cool lounge. At one time, this looked like a great place to visit.

When they make Zino Platinum Crowns with the LE Special Wrapper that is definitely the one place you will find it.

If you want to pay standard retail prices and a more local, less touristy experience, check out Cigarbox and En Fuego. Both are cheap cab rides from the strip. Cigarbox is open during the day only, En Fuego might be open later.

I'd say that it depends on how long you're going for and how many sticks you're planning on smoking. I visited the Davidoff kiosk in the Paris and paid almost double for my Fuente Hemingway than I would have here in Chicago. If you're looking for the "experience", I'd second (or triple/fourth) the Fuente bar in Caeser's (loved it). But, if you're asking about good selection and prices, then you might be better served getting a small travel humidor and bringing your favorite cigars with you. If you're going to smoke 7 or 8 cigars, you'll pay upward of $6-7 more per stick on the Strip; get a travel case for $20 instead of paying the extra $40-50

I was surprised at the mark-up. Even the kiosk on Freemont Street was significantly more expensive. But, I am guessing, CalixtoLopez is right - get away from the Strip and the FSE and prices should be more in line.

And enjoy the trip! I was the end of October and, now that it's getting cold here, look longingly at airplanes flying overhead...

Be there for 3 days then onto Lake Havasu Arizona and back to Vegas for a day before we fly back. I'll have plenty of sticks along to smoke, I'm looking to find something I can't around home. We'll be staying on Fremount St.

There are plenty of places to buy cigars on FSE. As Stockton John wrote above, I found Vato Cigars in Binion's to be really good. Again, I am really new to smoking cigars, so I was looking for guidance in buying an enjoyable stick; they were really helpful. The guy at the kiosk outside on the street wasn't helpful at all. even though I paid an extra dollar or two inside at Binion's at Vato's, I feel like I got a better value there because of their service.

Paul Vato, is a good guy. I used to sell to him at my former company.

Unless something has changed recently there is no longer smoking allowed on the Casa Fuente patio. Only the few seats at the bar inside.
Couple mentions of Fumare. Only a short 340 mile drive.
My advise bring your own. You can smoke just about anywhere. I enjoy smoking at Rhumbar outside of Mirage and in the casinos.
If your looking for the local spots then follow jdog's advice.

+1 All this! I was there this past weekend! Their cappuccino paired great with my FFOX Forbidden Lancero. Have fun! FYI, you can only smoke inside the store now, but it's still nice. Their working out kinks with getting the patio back open for smoking.

Honestly, I don't understand the hype over Casa Fuente. I agree they make great drinks but, you cannot smoke in the patio anymore (too many shops complained so Ceasars has banned it and will be remodeling to create a larger indoor space...from what I've heard) the inside lounge only has like 8-10 tables, and the cigars are way overpriced. I do understand it is vegas but, there is no reason to pay 13 bucks for a short story and sit in an uncomfortable "lounge."

I personally take my own cigars and smoke at various Hotel/Casino Lounges (Aria, Cosmo, Wynn, Encore have really nice ones).
