So what do you have to get your day started?

For the last 10+ years, my breakfast has generally consisted of fresh fruit or a frozen fruit smoothie (Jamba Juice or something similiar that I blend myself).
On occasion though, I'll go to a favorite local restaurant with my family to have blueberry or strawberry pancakes with a side of bacon (crisp), eggs (over easy) and fresh coffee.

Scrambled eggs w/diced ham or cold cereal; either raw, rolled oats or All-Bran, and always a good cup of coffee.

Eggs, toast and a piece of fruit, if i have time. If not, just fruit. I always drink milk and orange juice in the AM too, and of course some coffee.

I always have to eat something in the morning if I'm up..otherwise I feel sick. I usually eat cereal, an english muffin with jelly or waffles. I usually don't take too much time with breakfast as dinner is more my thing. If I go out to eat for breakfast it's almost always french toast with bacon.

Two Marlboros and two cups of black coffee! Truth too. Sometimes, eat a bowl or two of oatmeal. Just don't take time for it in the AMs.
Back when I was at Philip Morris, you are what we would call "THE target audience".

Oatmeal form me and a cigar on the wayinto work.

Not much for me during the workweek except for coffee during the commute. Saturdays, it's usually something easy like cold cereal, oatmeal, or toast & jam. Sundays that The Wife® is off from work are a different story, however.

Between the two of us, according to her, I'm the designated maker of yummy breakfasts. Sometimes it's just a "real" continental breakfast of meats, cheeses, breads, and fruit along with a couple of 4½-minute eggs. I also make a pretty good omelet. Not-from-a-box pancakes are another option. Fancier fare includes things like Eggs Benedict, rustic loaf french toast, or savory bread pudding. One of her favorites, though, is good old fried eggs over easy, Bavarian-style potato pancakes, and bacon or sausage on the side.

Now that's some real breakfast right there....need to invite me over haha!

I love how you put a registration mark next to "The Wife" like you did in your marriage 3.0 post. Good stuff!

Olives? For breakfast??? Wow. Have not heard of that before but if you enjoy it bro!
The right olives and the right cheese make a great light breakfast. Not talking about pitted canned crap, but the kind from a good market. A market near here sells a great Greek olive medley.

dont usually have breakfast in the morning. get my caffiene from mt. dew.
during deer hunting season its a totally different story. opening day is always the same: biscuits and gravy.
after that its anything goes. eggs, bacon, toast, sausage, poptarts, leftover pizza, grits. whatever is quick and easy.
