soft and mushy

I found an old (I mean like 4 years old) small tupperdore tonight with two Java cigars in them still in the wrapper. There was mold inside of the wrapper, but when I pulled the sticks out, they had no mold on them at all. They were, however, kind of soft and a little mushy feeling. Especially one of the two. The other one felt pretty normal to me. Are these savable and smokeable? Are they just wet? I cant imagine them being wet, even though there was a jar of beads n the tupperdore with them, they were dried out. Any suggestions?
