I saw the other thread, but could not reply, as it was too old. Anyone else tried these?

CI has a deal right now. 5 packs at 29.99. I have had 5 in my humi since the last deal well over a year ago, and I have not smoked one yet. Seeing as how these have an astronomical retail price and look quite fancy, I have been saving them for important occasions, like passing that certification test that I wound up failing, and more recently, my upcoming wedding. I might get another 5 for that reason. Nice to look at, and might be worth keeping in your humi for display purposes, if you are into that kind of thing.

The look good, but are a HUGE meh. The one I had was like smoking air.
This is actually good news as far as the wedding plans go. My cousin in law and I are the only ones who smoke cigars outside of special occasions. I don't think anyone would really enjoy the complexity of a nice stick, and something a bit lighter, more mellow, and boring would probably suit them better.

Not bad though right, just meh?

I agree with the others. Not bad, but boring, and these are a 2+ hour smoke. Might want to grab some Coronas, Robustos or something shorter for a wedding. Otherwise everybody is going to be tossing these with about 6 inches left to burn.

I bought a fiver a long time ago on cbid for $20. I smoked one and it was good, but the burn was out of control. I had to re-light it a few times and touch it up to keep the line strait.

You brought up a very good point that should have been obvious. Thank you!

I think the ones I've got are at least 1 1/2 years... Maybe I'll pick one up again.
