My wife is finally back to work tomorrow. :blob: :applause:
After being unemployed for 17 months (and down to her last few dollars of UI benefits), she starts her new job at the Stanford Medical Outpatient Center as a clinical assistant. She is actually the first one in her medical/insurance billing class (she graduated at the end of May) to find employment. The house is going to be oddly quiet tomorrow ...
In addition, I had my first "live" interview today. All my previous interviews (2) have been online or via phone. The position is an Inventory Mgr / IT Guru position at a very small company (25 employees). It's only part-time gig right now, but with good upside potential as the economy improves.
If nothing else it's nice to have your skill set appreciated and wanted. Hopefully this indicates things are slowly getting better.
