Alright well i finally remembered to bring my camera down with me to my new house. So here she is, right now the kitchen is getting refinished and new siding is getting put up.

Next:
a new bath tub and shower in the master bath
replace the front door and railings in the foyer
pull down all the old molding (inside) blast it and paint it white
new deck, and last rip up the old oak hard wood floors and put in the new teak flooring (like the upstairs shows)

And in a few months (prob this time next year) start refinishing the basement  BAR, BILLIARDS, GYM and "Man Room"

Didn't you just graduate? This is a pretty nice first home. I hope your mom doesn't make your loan payable in full if you have cigars in the man room. :)

VERY nice, Matt. Love the wood floors. And especially the future man cave. I would say that was worth giving up a few sticks.

She knows i will still smoke, she just doesn't want me to have some many (thinks it will make me cut back if i have less)

Plus all these cigar sales are helping me fix up the house! Thanks guys

Very nice. You can re-surface your tubs. We do it all the time in the apartment business. I would call a professional, should not cost too much either.

My parents did this to their tub recently. It's still holding up nice after 6+ months.

Oh - be carefull with those wood floors..
I refinished all the floors in my house before I moved in... That's one project I hope to never have to do again, ever. Century-old red oak - they look gorgeous now though.

Keep up the good work Matt! You've got a great looking place there & a great looking companion!

If you need more space, you can send me any of your remaining cigars!!! Opus, Blacks, CCs.. Whatever's clever!

I think i am just going to rip up the oak floors and replace them with teak (like the upstairs) I have about 750 sf of Teak left over from the original owner who never go around to replacing the older oak so i just have to get one of the guys to work on it.

I can only imagine how much work it would take to refinish the floors....all that sanding ughhhh gives me chills.

I am really going to have to work hard to refinish the trim/molding in the house though. That is something that i am going to do myself. I got lucky cause the trim is a hard wood so i will be able to blast it and not worry about ruining it, then spray prime it and paint it white....should only take a few months lol

Thanks for all the nice comments guys, when she is done i am going to have a huge herf :stretchgr
