I've had an unrealistically great run of cigars the last several days.
I got to Corona Cigar in Orlando on Sunday. The single best selection I have ever seen outside of a European humidor.
Picked up a Henry Clay Tattoo. Delicious.
Got the Johnny Tobacconaut which I had low expectations and high hopes for. It was mushy. Spongy. And delicious.
In Tampa, I visited King Corona (no relation) and they had a box of eye of the shark with 4 sticks left, 2 per person. Bought 2. Smoked one (great but needs a few months) and bombed the other. $13.50/stick! Florida prices were amazing everywhere.
Tonight I'm sucking on a 2010 PL Asia Pacifico and it's the best cigar I've smoked in months (bombed to me at Chef's last LA herf).
Yesterday at Edwards in Lakeland I spent a great 3 hours with the manager (and BOTL) Russ and we exchanged some hth combat when we discovered we're fellow Fuente whores.
I always wonder, when I hit an amazing run like this, if part of it is that my palate is just in the right place. At any rate, times like this always stoke my love of this hobby.
Today I got a ridiculous trade package from @StogieNinja that I can't wait to rip into.
