While I am pretty new into cigars, I saw something I had never seen in any cigar in my life. Usually even well humidified cigars have a stiff spongy feel to them. Recently I purchase a Cohiba Siglo IV and it was fresh out of an unopened box. What I noticed was that it was soft and squishy. What was really interesting was that I could almost twist the cigar. If I took both ends and twisted in opposite directions, the middle of the cigar would reveal wrinkle lines. Almost like the wrinkles you would see if you twisted a sleeve of a leather jacket. Is that normal? Smoked very well. Great smoke production.

I wasn't able to twist it that much. I should've mentioned that. But I was able to twist it about 5mm or so. A small twist. But it had that wrinkle effect showing in the wrapper

I only twisted it because it just seemed very soft. I usually squeeze cigars with little pressure just to test its stiffness. Then I noticed this thing is really moving around.

Yeah it was a legit source. Store's called La Casa Del Habano.

Lol I only twisted once I noticed it was giving in. No penis experiments yet however.

Well, it didn't feel super packed. But then again it was giving off loads of smoke. Pretty good cigar.

Wouldn't a "slightly moist" cigar give off lotsa smoke? I wonder if it was a "fresh pack" if the sticks were too moist going into box. Any of the other sticks do this?

Not usually. A moist stick usually is tightly-packed, and doesn't burn as well. Hotter, sure, but in my experience, a slightly dryer smoke will result in an easier burn with more smoke production.

I would say it was a wet, under-packed cigar, but the fact that it smoked well mystifies me.
