Gentlemen I was perusing eBay and came across this :

cigar web site for sale

It looks rather interesting and a little too good to be true. Supposedly they use a drop shipper and you can modify the prices however you like. So, what do you all think? Is it worth while? A scam? what?

I thought about bidding if it's legit. If I do and I get it you know they'll be a BOTL discount code!! :applause::rolling:

The freaking thing went for $750!! Wow! No one commented on here so I never bid on it. There's a another one that looks just like it going for $200 already. So, I take it no one has any thoughts on this at all?

it's not a bad price for an up and running website, but i wouldn't trust the drop shipping. you would be selling stuff you've never seen, seems like there would be alot of returns, keeping money tied up that could be used elsewhere.
in 2001 i had a website/internet business called Bargain Home Collectibles (been closed for years)and bought a pallet of goods from a drop ship warehouse. it arrived and was mostly junk. cheaply made, broken, missing parts. it looked like they swept the floor and filled one of the boxes. true it wasn't cigars, but dealing in things you can't see or control is risky.
just my 2 puffs...

my god, i cant believe that sold for $750. its really not a store in the sense that most people think. its just an affiliate type store. people are desperate for extra income.

I do own a few of that type store. they are easy to make. the issue is marketing the store, making it climb the search engines, and actually getting some sales.

I have used a dropshipper for knives and lighters. They did as promised but I didn't have to put anything up for it and did a test to myself first. Very little margin for the effort though.

The Seller may be the drop shipper, selling an opportunity to work to make them money. Any bussiness worth buying costs far more than that and would sell through a more legit means. What is the LLC name and what state is it in? I bet it just got opened this year and has no creditable income to show!
