It's funny how kids react to things. My two boys couldn't care less anymore, and I never smoked cigars in front of them until this summer. I am very carefull to keep away from them with the cigar, and downwind as well as I would rather just be more safe than sorry...but I went to a BBQ last night at a friends house and there were 3 little kids there under 7 yo. They each took turns informing those of us who "smoked" would die. I wanted to inform their parents of the ACTUAL physical facts about cigars, but realised that a sheltered child only has one source of information and that the kids would never be taught any different. I just kept smoking my wonderful Oliva V Torp and calmed down :lookaroun

When I began my cigar journey almost a year ago, my dad was less than pleased. I couldn't blame him though because he was addicted to cigarettes for like 35 years, had just quit, and was afraid I would have to go through the same thing.

Hes cool now though, and smokes a stick with me every once in a while.

Congrats to your son. May he have a journey full of wonderful smokes!

Something you to will always be able to share anda great way to bond for an hour or so once life gets to busy My dad doesn't smoke but we hunt together and I enjoy looking forward to the time shared because life doesn't always allow time to hang out I hope my son and I will find something we can share together(he's only 2 now) but congrats

I think he did like it, much to my wife's chagrin. I see us smoking again. Had the usual first time "inhaling" issues. Not going to push him to smoke, and I really don't want him smoking cigarettes. As you can see from the pic, he was smiling.

That's awesome!! I'm glad he enjoyed it! Get him hooked on those tasty cigars, I know that's what made me lose interest in cigarettes. A Parliment Light tastes like smoking @$$hole compared to the rich flavor of a Tatuaje cigar.

Congrats on the new bonding avenue that' opened up for you two. I'd say the Mac was a good choice to start him off with, that or a cabinetta (which might be something to think about for the next time).

Congrats on bringing another one into the fold! I like T-Squared's suggestion about the Cabinetta for his next one!
