Do yourself a favor and pick up a bottle of this.

I went to my local shop yesterday to pick up some beer and inexpensive whiskey to enjoy while doing other nonsense like video games. They had this on sale for a hair over $20, without tax. I knew the name from somewhere, but had never had it, but figured I'd give it a shot.

Extremely glad I did. I think I've found my "daily dram" scotch. I could not agree more with WhiskyAdvocate's "Value Pick" decision. Cheaper than Jack Daniel's, but incredibly tasty with some strong honey notes.

I picked up a bottle of that last Xmas. I think it was $16 with a flask. It makes fantastic Whisky Sours

I bought a bottle. It's decent but there are a few others I'd rather buy around this price. Bowmore Legend and Monkey Shoulder are 5 bucks more. Black Bottle is 5 bucks less.
