Spousal Comments We Wish We Could Take Back

I'm reminded of the time when my wife was turning 40. I took her out to eat with an sweet older couple who were in in their 70's.

I made a crack about how I was going to trade my wife in for two 20 year olds.

The older gentleman looked me square in the eye and said.....


"You're not wired for 220"


My wife never said a word..... (until later)

Well I have one that got me in some serious crap for a good week. I thought I was being funny but my wife didn't think it was amusing. The Victoria Secret catalogue came in the mail and I started sorting through it like any red blooded american male. My wife just basically rolled her eyes until this statement, "honey, don't you wish these came in scratch and sniff". To this day that still cracks me up. But, the week of crap she put me through was not pretty.:sadstare:
