havent seen the new trailer but one all the original. and the new enterprise and have seen most all the other series. also have seen every movie. will watch then let you know

that looks fn awsome. thats before anything else. its a prequel to all startrek except for when they go back in time and help build the first warp capable ship. looks very cool

I thought so too, but who will be the crew. And the teaser does look awsome.

im not sure who the crew would be but i doubt it would be James im guessing someone new. or like one of the admirals that was in the first series. not sure.

From what I understand, it's an origin story about the beginning of the original Star Trek crew.

It's about Captain Kirk, Spock, Bones, Scotty, Uhura, Sulu, and Chekov....but with all new actors, of course.

yeah im a trekkie by assosiation my dad grew up with them so just sort of works that way

The choice for SPOCK is PERFECT!
and SULU is a very good option as well.
I am undecided on all the rest.
But the trailer looks awsome.

Wow, they did a great casting job! I'm a Star Trek nut (especially Next Generation), so I'm going to flip out when this comes to theaters.

I am going to see this. Big trekkie. Very sad that Shatner will not be a part of it.

I'm sad that Shatner won't be in it either, but then again they did kill off his character, so it doesn't make sense to have him in it.

Leonard Nimoy is in it as an elder Spock (apparently at the start of the movie in some sort of conflict with a Romulan played by Eric Bana), and George Takei apparently wanted to be in it as well, but I guess they didn't need him. But having Shatner in it would require reviving him from the dead--AGAIN--and that would just overshadow the entire movie.

I just wish they'd have never killed off Kirk in the first place!
