Can someone explain to me what a Sticky thread is and what not. I've finally found enough time to come and paruse the site and I'm now discovering all this stuff. So if someone could explain to me what all the different threads and options and crap like that is and where to find stuff that'd be just fantastic. Super Duper. Better than Butter. Yeah, all that.

A sticky thread is usually an important one. By labelling it "sticky" it will always appear at the top of the threads in that particular forum, with other sticky threads.
