IIRC general cigar came out with these a couple few years ago, almost like a hyperpremium macanudo? FWIW i have never burned one, but they are supposed to be that much. if it were me, i would pass, but there are only a couple few CT shade smokes that really keep my interest.

I smoked a Robusto that was gifted to me last year. Not terrible, but not worth the cost IMHO

Imagine a sublime, mild cigar in a pretty cigar coffin with a wax seal, well worth the super-premium $30 MSRP it's priced at.

Then remove all trace of delicious flavor from the cigar.

Et voila... Stradavarious.

I had some, did a review of them just after I joined the forum
Strad review

I didn't smoke them all and wound up tossing them.
I read your review, Gary Korbs, and a few others. Looks like a decent 8am golf smoke if nothing else. For the price that Famous Smoke has them for with our BOTL discount right now, it is less than $8 a stick. For that I will give it a try. Plus there is a free 10 pack as well... http://www.famous-smoke.com/stradivarius+lonsdale+cigars/item+44393

Why waste $8 on a mediocre-at-best stick when there are a gazillion great sticks at that price point? I'd pick literally any regular production Cuban robusto over the Strad all day, any day, and most of them are a buck or two cheaper even than that Famous deal.

Exactly. I just picked up a 10er of PSD4s for $80 and a 12er of Trinidad Reyes for $80 shipped.
