I received my order from cbid this morning and the box felt a little heavier than it should have. Once I opened it I realized that my Romeo Y Julieta Viejo fiver was actually a full box. At first I was overjoyed since nothing like that ever happens to me but after awhile I started to feel like a jerk. So I gave them a call and told them I'd pay the extra just to keep the box instead of all that shipping back and forth. Granted they were really cool about it and gave it to me at cost but still it cost me more quid than I would have had to spend if I'd kept my big mouth shut.

However, six months from now I'll be in the grocery store and give the clerk a Cnote instead of the Jackson I thought I gave her and she won't give me back the right change. That is if I'd kept my mouth shut.

What do you guys think about karma? Does it exist? I think God sees that everything works itself out eventually. Much to my detriment apparently.

Personally, I love the old French proverb: "There is no pillow so soft as a clear conscience." You done right and are a credit to yourself, your family and this board.

One of the best bumper stickers I have ever seen say's "My Karma ran over my Dogma". I could help but think of it while reading this.

Doing the right thing always makes it easier to sleep at night. Good on you.

You did the right thing. Whether or not you think Karma is real or judgment will come, doing the right thing is still the right thing. We all want to live in a cooperative society where transactions occur fairly and predictably. It all comes down to people. It all depends on people like you doing what's right just because you know it's right.

Oak Ridge eh?

How are things in the world of the split atom? I was through that way a couple weeks ago on my way to the mountains. I didn't see any 3 eyed fish so things must be going well. j/k :)

Not sure what I'd do, but after thinking about it I would have opened the box taken 5 out and shoot them an email to inform them of the situation. I would also indicate that if they didn't reply by Friday I would make the assumption they didn't care and keep the box.

if c-bid is the devil, than does stealing from the devil make it right?
