Aw man... it had been months... yet nothing to show for it.
I had knocked on Plato's door... picked Sun Tzu's brain. Hemingway, Eliot, Capote, even bits of Bradbury were scoured... nothing there.
Almost settled on a tidbit that Dante sent over, but it just didn't fit me. Just like the Lincoln quip before him, the words just weren't me. They were deep, meaningful, and true... but not simple and profound at the same time.
Until one rather balmy day in Karachii, Pakistan, unsuspectingly the very words that I had been looking for ended up on my Blackberry over bbm.
I had been through dozens of quote books to find a signature for my botl account... until Mr. Jim Barry came to the rescue with that doozy below while chatting with me about some intense political / social topics...
