Summery (your overall impression. How did this cigar leave you?) This cigar was like smoking 3 different cigars in one sitting. Just wish it would have had a little more strength and better draw from the start all though it did open up as it burnt down.

Prelight

Silky smooth light brown wrapper on this slightly box pressed cigar. Foot gave a slightly sweet tobacco flavor, as did the cold draw.

First Third

This cigar lit well, and produced a light aroma.
Initial notes of white chocolate and a slight note of salt over a background of leather and wood. Beautiful dense, dark ash. The draw is extraordinary, especially for a Churchill.

Second Third

During the last part of the 2/3, the flavor profile turned heavier and slightly vegetal; producing a slightly sour finish. The background changed to oatmeal, dark coffee and leather. The draw remained excellent, and the ash was strong and packed….A well made cigar.

Last Third

The heavier notes mellowed a bit, and lost the sour edge. The background remained strong with earth and burned wheat toast…Kina like a Boli! Hmmmm
At this point the cigar really grew in strength and power. The nicotine buzz began, yet somehow notes of milk chocolate and figs darted in and out.
The burn, draw and ash remained top notch, with ample amounts of smoke with each draw.

Closing

Superb craftsmanship, despite a short lived run of sourness near the middle. This was a nice cigar that shifted gears several times and delivered an enjoyable experience. I usually don’t hazard a guess, but I think this may be a Boli Coronas Gigantes.

80/100

Ok, this is not going to be my best review because I lost my notes!! Grrr, I feel so stupid! Anyway, here is what I remember.

Appearance: The cigar was a bit rumpled looking with a few heavy veins running down it. The cap was a little uneven looking and the wrapper was medium brown color with a slight olive tint to it and I remember the wrapper as slightly toothy.

Taste: When I lit up this cigar I was struck by the tangy, slightly peppery flavors. I enjoyed this cigar very much. When I tasted the cigar it really narrowed it down to two choices for me.

Ash: The ash held together pretty well, I did not have to worry about the ash falling off as it was pretty firm.

Draw: This cigar had a pretty good draw, giving a good body of smoke. I thought it was a little firm before I lit it, but it was not a problem after the first couple of minutes.

Well, my thoughts are that this cigar is either a Bolivar Inmensas or a Partagas Serie du Connaisseur No. 2. I'm going to say that it was the Party SdC and I give it a score of 89

Guess as to what the cigar was that you smoked? Torn between an H Upmann or SP Molinos the saltiness has me leaning SP Molinos.

Total score--85. I thought this would score better it was a good cigar with no problems but I scored it as I went and will stick with this total.

Summery (your overall impression. How did this cigar leave you?)
This cigar had a great aroma. I truly believe if wasn't wet and plugged it would of been a great cigar. Mute flavors and a short finish left me wanting more knowing it would of been there in the 1st half. Even though it was wet the burn stayed pretty consistant from the 2nd third through the end. Some notes of earth, with spice coming a going along with imo a sweetness Bolis bring to the table.

A slightly wet Bolivar Immensas? ( maybe 3-4yrs?)
