I'm having a personal party today. Started the morning off with a Sancho Panza Bachilleres from '99, coffee and some buttermilk pancakes with maple syrup. Then, a Punch SS No.1 from '03 and a Bloody Mary segueing into a Bolivar Corona Junior from '03 and a Lagunita's Lucky No. 13

NASCAR is on soon and I have a Hoyo DC that is begging to be smoked

Anyone else smoking?

I bit the nubbit and smoked the cameroon robusto today. It has an excellent construction but the taste deteriorated as the cigar progressed. It tasted smooth and creamy and migrated toward ashy toward the end. I think it is worth the $5 price tag........not bad, but not great.....

Hope your weekend was a good as mine!

I went to a Civil War re-enactment at Neshaminy State Park in PA today to see my friend James do his thing with the Mifflin Guard. These guys are awesome. Very realistic.

Anyway, I smoked a nice Perdomo Habano Maduro while I watched with my son, my daughter, and my daughter's friend. I ran out of fluid in my touchup lighter (that I didn't have to use too much, thanks goodness). A nice way to spend an afternoon with the kids.

If you haven't been to one of these re-enactments, they're interesting for sure. And most of the time they're free.

5 Vegas Gold churchill. Not bad for a 10:30 am smoke. I think I'll smoke the Mystery cigar #3 after the kids go to bed.

Smoking a Rafael Gonzalez Lonsdale from '02. The aroma is most interesting, and has a very strong cedar smell to it. It's smoking very nicely.
