Hey all...SlowPoke here. I've been herfing for nearly ten years now. I was introduced to quality stogies by a few buddies in my neck of this ball of dirt. I've been exploring and developing my personal taste interests seriously for the last 5 years. I am crazy about Nicaruguan stogies. I am of the mindset that the best stogies are no longer only coming out of the Habanos regime (although there are quality CC's I do really enjoy). Furthermore, I am a Tat guy. I really think Pete and Peppin make a great team!! I also enjoy other Nica names: Padron, Liga Privada, San Cristobal, Warlock... Other than Nicas, I like LFD, Fuente, LAdC, Camacho... I also enjoy finding a great stick for an amazing price. I will jump on a bargin. I don't believe in bashing a retailer just cause it's cool. I buy my stogies where I can find a deal. I do support local B&Ms though!! With that said, I like med to full bodied stogies with a good aged tobacco taste as well as a nut, cream, espresso, bitter choc flavor profile. As much as I enjoy a great smoke, I enjoy great conversation to go with it. I ride loud motorcycles and share good stogies with as many folks as I can in my journeys. I also take my coffee very serious...I buy wholesale beans and roast coffee! I enjoy my coffee the same way as my stogies - I assess it for the flavor profile and quality. I participate in several local herfing groups. My goal from joining this forum is to meet others that enjoy the finer vices in life.
