This is a sports bar in the suburbs of Chicago who has a smoking room. The room has three TV's and video games. If you live in Illinois, you know how hard it is to find a place to smoke other than cigar shops/lounges. 5 cigar buddies and I spent time there today and had a great time eating, smoking,talking and watching DA BEARS end a horrible season on a high note. A very small selection and a little over priced, but you can bring your own. That is one really nice thing about the place, you can bring your own cigars form home with no obligation to buy. That is the problem I run into with cigar shops, you always have to buy from them in order to smoke. I buy 95 % of my cigars from local cigar shops, but there are a few of my cigars i get from friends or the internet. I always feel bad when i smoke them in shops with lounges. I don't have to worry about that at this sports bar.

I don't get it then, doesn't a certain percentage of there business have to come from cigar sales in order to have the lounge w/smoking? Is the lounge connected to the bar? I'm confused bro, I'm sorry but that sounds like they're breaking the law... If not I'd love to go and have a cigar and order a scotch or something.

It is a room off of the bar towards the rear of the building. I don't know how they get around the law, but me and my buddies were really surprised. I had the same thoughts you did, until i went there today. If they are breaking the law no one cares and they allow it. The only thing I can recommend is to go try it out.
