It all tastes the same. The service is weak. They use alot of cheap fillers like rice and beans. They use cheese of dubious origin. That being said, it is cheap, fast and spicy. Around here there are dozens of family owned taco stands that do it better, but I still find the car heading into the drive through their drive through from time to time.
for the longest time the small town i live in never had any sort of mexican restraunt. taco bell had the only "south of the border" food. but a couple of years ago we finally got an authentic mexican rest. and the food there is execellent. dont think ive been to taco hell since.:smokingme
My office is located smack dab in french fry alley. Seems every single fast food joint is within 1/2 mile either direction with very few decent places to eat. I dig the chicken grilled stuffed burrito and the double decker taco over greasy burgers and slimy soggy fry's when I need a quick bite to eat.
I am a huge Mexican food fan. I love my food hot (habanero hot). We have several authentic mexican places around here that are great. Problem arises when neither the wife or I feel like cooking or going out. Do we eat a greasy burger? Nah, taco bell is cheap, fairly tastey, and quick. We grab something from there about 3 times a month. I like the chili cheese burrito with sour cream and a nacho supreme. Hey those meximelts are darn good too.
Which Taco Bell are you refering to the food chain or the mexican telephone company (Taco "Bell")....sorry for the weird humor but this is an old phonemans joke line.....
