Howdy All:

I hope you are doing great.

I am in Madrid Spain right now and ended up at a cool Cigar place last night. I was drawn near a section that had a bunch of special editions and ended up spending about $100 Euros which I think is about $140 US for I think 9 smokes.

I am at work now, so I do not have the receipt with me but will post when I get it handy. I had the Partagas Serie D No. 5 - Petit Robusto -- 50 x 110 (4.3") last night and it was an enjoyable smoke on the balcony of my hotel room.

Does this happen to you when you end up in a shop with special editions? That you are like "wow, I have to try these".

Sorry for the rambling, very excited and looking forward to smoking these throughout the week. Should make my travels through Europe that much more enjoyable.

Best regards, tony

Yes Tony - I think all of us fall victim to that at some point!!!

All I can say is - Enjoy! It sounds like you got a very fair price too!

Why don't you snap some pictures for us gar-porn fans and to help you remember your good smoking fortune!

Everything looks GREAT except that Monte Open. I hope you like it, but I couldn't finish the one I had it was so bad. Some nice smokes there!

Ahhhh, Madrid... My first CC was smoke on the balcony of my room at the Wellington during my Honeymoon several years ago.... If i can recall it was a Cohiba maduro.... I bought it at the lobby bar, where they had a end-table style humi... They bartender told me, he has never sold a cigar and he worked there for many years... the plume on that castro stick was incredible... anywho... Nice score!!!
