So a spot opened up, and I decided to do it. I am Going on the Feb 20-23 trip and I can't wait.
Anyone else here taking the trip? Is there anything I need to bring, or any recommendations you guys have?
Thanks in advance, now I need to book my flight.

Not going, but bring a caddy for around 30 cigars. prepare to smoke a bunch of great cigars and have some great times with JD and the whole DE group. I have yet to go on one, but I can't wait until I can go! Also, there is an awesome guy near the factory who hand-makes some shoes/boots. They run around $100 cash, so it's always nice to bring some excess $$$ and support the community. Lastly, bring a camera!

Someday I may join you... If not I may go on my own and visit some other tourist hotspots as well. I have a friend over there. ;)

Sent from my Galaxy S3 while getting a blumpkin!

You're going to love it - one of the best trips I ever took. I'd bring $50 spending money - you need $10 to get into Nica and you might want to buy some trinkets here or there, a herfador (I came home with about 40 cigars probably give or take), and maybe some solid t-shirts or hats or something (Jessi from Subculture Studios will put some awesome DE designs on any stuff you bring).

If you want, PM me - I wrote a very long blog about my trip that I can give you if you're interested.

I spent more money in the airports eating than I did the several days in Nicaragua. There is a duty free liquor store in the Managua airport if you want to pick up a bottle or two once you get in to Nica.
