I'm pretty sure I've never smoked a Juan Lopez cigar. None of my local cigar bros ever talk about them either.
So; whats the deal? Do they really need 3 to 5 years of age time to be decent smokes?

Every batch will be different... some codes will smoke well fresh and some won't. It all depends on what batch you get.

fresh, well rested, matured & aged stages individually represent snapshots of that overall signature cc tobac profile .
users can then identify and associate with some preferences .
best case - anticipate a fresh jlo to output a raw bold single or double noted version of good cc smoke

I enjoy the 2s fresh and aged......the 1s have been pretty good fresh recently as well.

Full of that twang thing. I really enjoy the #1. Seem to aged a bit "quicker" than some Marcas and I have found the #1 to be very good at the 18 to 24 month point.

the #2 has been getting great reviews on the forums I frequent, I enjoyed the '12 and '13 boxes I had.
Had a couple 5ers of '14s,very tasty.

Yep. I've never smoked anything by the brand before and I hate have a full box of something I don't really care for.
Now that said if I do enjoy them I'll probably go for a box. Time will tell.

I've had 2's and 1's. still have 1's saved away...just a few. But the 2's were gone long ago. Years ago.

Picked up both boxes at the same time.

I prefer the 2s as well. I enjoy the 1s but they aren't as great as the 2s
