A quick search brought up nothing about it. So who has had the Por Lorranga Montecarlo and what did you think of it?
Stogiegeeks (episode 8) turned me on to them. The few reviews I've read and the primarily the price is attracting me to purchasing anywhere from 1-3 boxes. But I would love to hear from my brothers on them first.

recently toked on my first pl montecarlo.
the nature of the shape and blend begs to be sipped and savored. layback bodied, good floral cc scent & exhibited clean tobac flavors.
great for the occasional break from the larger ring gutpunchers...

I really enjoy them. They are a mild cigar though, kind of easy to be overpowered, but oh so enjoyable.

I get citrus flavors in the smoke and on my lips, floral, slight nuttiness, very nice tobacco, very light leather with touches of cedar in the far background. The cigar is extremely complex, but it takes some concentration to get the most out of one. It by no means slaps you in the face with any of the flavors, but it has to be one of the most relaxing cigars in my stash.

Friends and I split a few boxes last year (NOV 08's as I recall). At first, we unanimously hated them, but they are turning out to be great cigars, especially for the price.

Bought a box a year or so ago just because they were cheap and figured why not. Actually enjoyed them...agree with everyone else...light and easily over powered by a beer or even a soda...but have great flavor and quickish burn time...was a go too for ride home for work or on way in if I was working late. Don't think you will be disappointed. If you are you can always get rid of them pretty quickly...

I actually decided to snag two boxes of the Panatelas instead. They were in stock, and even cheaper yet. Figured it was worth the gamble.

Tim, if you and the fellas would like to try some of these - let me know. Figure it might make a good comparison to the Montecarlo.
