Tatuaje Apocalypse

So I picked up a couple handfuls of these, and I received them this weekend. I typically avoid smoking anything ROTT, but this stick was so beautiful I had to try one. They've been sitting for a few days now. At cut, I was kinda concerned cause I picked up a weird chemical taste kinda like paint thinner or something, but I toasted and smoked anyway hoping it was just a weird taste from something else. This taste, thankfully, departed, and the stick was great even ROTT. The first third was slightly harsh...due to no acclimation/rest time from shipping, but it mellowed after first third. It was really tasty, and I am excited to try it again after they rest for a month or two. What are others experience with this blend??

Man do they look great, I planned on picking up a 5er as a birthday treat as the release date was set to be delivered one day before my birthday (the 22nd) but due to losing my job and whatnot I had to pass. I've heard these are pretty good from the get go so I'm hoping in a few months when I get back to level I can get some with a few months of downtime and enjoy.

I heard this was a little milder than the anarchy, so I'm hopeful the negatives are from people that just want or were expecting more of a punch in the mouth smoke.

Yes, it is milder than the Anarchy. I am very excited to see how this smokes after it settles for a while.

I got a fiver like you, smoked one ROTT - it was 12/21 - had to! Fell in love immediately with the angry cinnamon/pepper hit and bought 3 more boxes. This is the new Dirty Rat. It's a Tat without the twang, Pete out-Liga'd Liga Privada with this one. <3

Angry Cinnamon...that's brilliant!

I got a fiver Friday, and I liked the looks so much, I ordered another fiver...got here yesterday, which was 2 days from FL to PA...impressive!

My brother and I smoked these today--we both loved it. I liked it more than the Anarchy fresh, so if it ages even half as well as the Anarchy ill be pleased.

Not a punch to the mouth, but nice and peppery for a Nooner.

Smoking one right now... I feel like this is pretty strong.. even for a Tatuaje. Lots of pepper through the nose and rich earthy flavors on the palate.

I keep reading the "pepper" thing so I guess my box will be sitting for a year. I smoked quite a few Anarchy and pepper would be the last of the profiles that come to mind if at all. Maybe it's just me.

I smoked one ROTT and only got what I would describe as pepper in the first few puffs...then I would describe it as an "angry cinnamon" as someone else put it. I may be buying several more boxes if they stay as good as they were ROTT
