Last night at the V Cut Caldwell event with @Cigar Jedi , , I decided on a Tat Belle Encre Reserva for stick #2 (following up an Eastern Standard).

I remembered @jonnylieberman smoking one at our informal LA Herf last weekend, and as I got into the second half of the cigar, I recalled his constant remarks about how great it was. It is. These start off pretty good, but at the halfway point they shift to full fledged flavor bomb -- the smallest puffs coat the tongue with flavor. It's really amazing.

If, like me, it's been a while since you visited this stick, give it another go.

The story I was telling Senor was that I was introducing my cousin Ben in London to cigars. He quick cigs and was vaping. Ben told me he liked vaping because of all the different flavors. I knew what to do!

Pulled out a J21 and a La Colmena 36. Lit 'em both and we kept swapping. At first my cousin was going on and on about how much liked the 36. I kept saying, yes, that's a great one, but these Tats are special -- be patient. At the halfway point, BOOM! The pepper died down and that jammy goodness came through. The La Colmena suddenly seemed quite tame by comparison.

And that Belle Encre at the Herf was Yum Yum, too.
