Has anyone noticed that some of the newer Tat releases seem to be in awesome shape (more oily and visually more appealing than Tats of old)? For example, an old box of old Cojonu 2003's was next to a newer box of 2003's in my B&M and the newer labeled Cojonu (the one with the PJ symbol) looks way more oily and prettier than the box of old (maybe just because the other box is "older"). Pete, is this because the vintages that are in use right now are that much better?

Interesting....

I'll have to check this out. I have a few old Regios lying around, and another box on the way. I'll check & compare.

I think the wrapper is the same, its the wrapper from the or 03's that changed. Difference is just prob due to age. I have a box of the or 09's, man those sticks rock.

I've noticed that the cojonus and j21 tend to vary in wrapper. It doesn't help that recently pepin hasn't had a huge supply of nica wrapper as well.

Im don't think that the quality has diminished or improved, just the aesthetics have varied.
