I am actually sitting here having one right now, the Sumatra. It is my first, so I cant comment on how they are smoking now compared to in the past. I am getting from it though some leather, earth and wood with the finish being like a red pepper flake and chocolate... A lot of flavors going on, the pepper yet chocolate at the end is interesting but good.

I tell you what, I have not been the biggest fan of these so far. I think the cojonus in general have never lived up to the first one. Plus he also puts out so many good smokes (especially this year!) that I keep trying and going back to other things.

I had the 2012 Sumatra at a release party in March; it was very good, but still needed some time to mature. I bought the 2012 book and had it resting. I recently decided it was time for another try. The cigar did not disappoint. Although there are other great cigars crafted by Pete, the 2012 Cojonu is a very good cigar.

When the books were first released, the Broadleaf was my favorite of the two, since then the Sumatra has come into its own and is smoking well. I need to smoke a few more of the recently released Habano before I decide if it needs some time.
