Tatuaje Jekyll - Thoughts?

Hey guys, I didn't see any reviews on it, so I figured I would post up in here. Anyone had the Tatuaje Jekylls? I was interested and took on the Smoke Inn scavenger hunt, quickly found a box they'd hidden, but then saw the price tag...over $25 per stick in a five-pack? I backed down quickly, as I've never seen anything on them other than being part of the overall interesting concept of the "Monsters" and didn't want to shell out the cash.

Thoughts? Did I miss out (really?)?

If you cant find them locally I can part with a fiver. I really enjoyed it though. I think it will be like the Jason and only get better by next halloween. Creamy and smooth for a monster.

If the price was $130 it was for the 10 count box. The emails I got all said boxes. I have bought from Smoke Inn many times and they never charged over MSRP

Serious??? They email advertise some sort of special scavenger hunt, for non-dress boxes and they end up selling 5ers at $25 per cigar?!? I thought it was amusing they were thinking they were doing something special just for the non-dress boxes that are super easy to get, then they try and bait you into paying $25 per?? That's fukn crazy. lol

Yeah you sure it was for 5ers? Their site still says that they hide 6 boxes each day...

Maybe I was mistaken but when I put the box in my shopping card, all I saw was qty.5 - not saying I couldn't have misread it, but...I usually don't misread. Hoping I'm wrong about it, though.

As Craig said, Abe and Smoke Inn usually are good people and don't overcharge... all advertising has said boxes will be sold. If you really saw the #5, maybe it was for the #5 box being sold today and was priced at $125 for the 10-ct box. Makes much more sense as I couldn't see them charging such a ridiculous price for these.

I smoked one and didn't get much out of it at all. I made it to the halfway point and then tossed as my smoke time was limited and I wanted to have something good before time was out. A buddy of mine was smoking one at the same time, he didn't get much out of his either...he finished his though but did say he wouldn't buy another. This is an extremely small sample size and based on the other feedback I've read, my experience is not the norm.

It's too light for my liking but not a bad smoke if you like a light smoke. I prefer the Jason.

Smoke Inn and Abe is pretty legit and fair with their pricing much like Emerson's. I can't see them charging $25 per stick.

I've tried the Jekyll, and thought it was pretty good. Not similar to last year's Jason in flavor at all. It was less strong, but had more spice. The last two years they've really done a good job.

I loved it, ended up buying a box. I've smoked a couple, gifted a couple, and am really looking forward to how it ages

Maybe give the NHIE thread a visit and perhaps someone will blow your mailbox off its hinges with something you've been wanting to try mwuahahahahaha *waves hand* "this is not a trap"

Its a good smoke, but $14 for a medium stick is too much for me. It has good flavor, but there are other smokes I would rather buy at that price point...I'm glad I tried it tho. My advice would be to smoke one before jumping into a 5er or a box.

I'm aging mine. As with all my monster cigars. I find that they get better for me after a year and more.
