Derek sent me a package last night and inside was a Red Tubo. I have pictures of them all, but the 'Bomb' section hasn't opened up yet. Thanks Derek! Here's some pictures of the tubo:

I purchased a box of the red tubos and was very disappointed with the quality. Of the 10 cigars, six were unsmokeable. The wrappers were either cracked or falling away. The B&M I purchased from made them right, but the quality was horrible. For $14 a stick I expect better than that. However the one I did smoke was very good, however I still prefer the Verocu zona del este

I prefer the East/West Coast as well, but I never had one of those fresh. I think for freshies these Tubos are surprisingly awesome.

As far as the wrappers--the Verocu wrappers have always been fragile, and Pete said that the shipments from the MFC Factory in Nic were f'ed up by UPS (boxes picked up and moved multiples times instead of forklifts and pallates, etc). But whatever, Tatuaje is replacing any broken sticks that a shop is unwilling to, which is only proper.

I had a box and a half of these, and will definitely be getting more. I was hoping for a lot from these--honestly, my expectations were a bit unrealistic (the West and East Verocu are my two favorite cigars!), but I'm pleased with the Tubos.

I have a six'r (3 black & 3 red) I got online and letting rest for a year atlease if possible...I will be pissed if they crumble or tear after waiting so long. I have not had these yet so I'm hoping I have a good experience with these because frankly, the opinions and highest regards for this cigar is the reason I spent the money....you bastids better not have let me down!!! :nono: lol
