Because it is made from tobacco that would otherwise be thrown away or sold to a company that makes medium/short filler sticks... Plus you can't get as much for a stick if it uses medium filler.what i dont get is if the series p is made with scraps from the core lines, why do they cost so little? isnt it the same tobacco?
No, it's the same quality as is in other sticks. You can't get as much money for a short/medium filler stick so if you're going to sell it to someone you're not going to get much for it. Pete makes the Series P for his customers, he's stated several times they make hardly any money on it.i get that. but doesnt that then mean the quality of the tobacco is second to the quantity of it in a cigar?
