I received a call at 1700 yesterday from my son, Sgt Christopher Simser, serving in the Helmand Valley in the 'Stan with the 1/8 USMC. They were one of the targets set up for a cigar bomb by brother jwayatt55 and all of you who contributed. Those smokes were received, distributed, and were greatly appreciated by the Marines in question. My son is e-mailing me some pictures I will get up on the board.
Guys, this means a hell of a lot to me. We enjoy so much special stuff for the holidays. For the Marines serving in this remote and dangerous section of Afghanistan, Christmas day was special in that they got some beter than average "good chow" at breakfast and mid day. That was it. So all you send means so much.
Thanks again brothers. God Bless You all - and special thank to Jason. This was just a great thing you all did.
