so where I work I'm handed AT LEAST one fake cc a week by a client returning from business or vacation, and it's alway the most atrociously constructed, glaringly obvious crap I've ever seen. Worse then when I'm actually abroad perusing the counterfiets.
Well last night a long-time client, who I thought I had properly educated before leaving, hands me a monte #2. The cigar is beautifully constructed, dark wrapper, oily sheen, firm but not hard, no sunspots or large veins, the band is offset and mis-cut a bit, and the taper is too extreme (sorry, no camera with me)... not the traits of a monte #2. Neither is the taste; I'm smoking it now, and it's unbelieveably AWESOME. Spicy as hell, sweet, If I had to guess I'd say that Don Pepin is pumping out some PREMO FAKE CUBANS. I'd sooner buy a box of these fakes than real Monte anything...
