Two weeks ago, one of the regulars at my B&M passed away very suddenly. He was an amazing guy, a filmmaker, and a recent first time father of only a few weeks.

Tonight, the owners quietly put the word out that we would be showing his newest film at the lounge, and putting the sales proceeds from the evening into a college fund for his infant daughter.

We expected 10-12 people. 30 plus showed up.

Our lives and our brother and sisterhood in this community are more meaningful than we tend to realize.

Cheers, brothers.

Dang thats brutal. So nice to see people come out for that. As someone who lost their father in high school its great to see someone being honored by those he impacted in his life. As a car guy we have gotten people together for times like this too, love to see how one common thing can bring people together for a great (not the actual event) reason.
