So I show up at work today and shortly after I arrive one of our best customers and good friends shows up. This guy has more cigars than he knows what to do with, has lockers all over the country including the Grand Havana Room. He is always very generous with his cigars and in turn I do my best to steer him toward the best we have to offer. Well this afternoon he goes to his locker, pulls out a stick and comes to the counter and gives it to me. I am thinking something with some age and most likely Cuban. To my suprise, he hands me the stick from the 2000 Il Festival Del Habano which was handed to him by Fidel himself. I am still speechless that he would give me such a unique and rare cigar. I am not sure when this one will meet fire, but it won't be for a long time. Just thought I would share with you.

Unbelievable! If it wasn't someone I knew from BOTL, I seriously wouldn't believe it. But that, sir, is an amazing story and an amazing cigar! You'll have to get a glass tube or something to keep it safe.
