I think it's where they hail from. Pete is from Maine, and I think Rogan is a Canadian? You'll get a similar type of sound from those areas. Some people from Maine and New England have a very Canadian sound.

I def. agree they have some kind of similarity in thier looks, not sure what it is exactly.
