from what i've heard/read, this isn't the typical superhero movie... lots of gory action, nudity, offensive language... what more can you ask for? its from the director of the 300, so im hoping it'll be just as good. and i really enjoyed the graphic novel.

I do want to see this!!! I want to see it in IMAX. I saw Dark Knight in IMAX 3 times. I don't think that there is a better way to watch movies.

I agree, but there were so many things that, if in the movie, would've been a cause to deny access to younger ones, thus not introducing the philosophy of it to them in time to be well embeded before the political correctness made them pay no mind to the fact that people ARE the government. Take for example the begining: Evey was a 16 year old lass prostituting herself.

EDIT - Irefferto how it'd be over here. Not sure how rating work over there

The majority of the time print does not translate over to film as well as the original.....its sad but true....:sadpace:
Indeed. The best ones I've seen are the EXTENDED versions of The Lord Of The Rings. Then again, the best does not mean that they succeded.

everytime i buy movies here locally the nudity and some times swear words are censored lol. Its like howard stern on regular radio......

I could go pick up a pirated copy of watchmen right now, but for the better movies I like to wait and see the real deal, like dark night in Imax(yeah me too ;) It was totally worth the wait to see it right! But I am super impressed with the novel, love rorshach!:ccool:

Saw it tonight and over all enjoyed it but at 3 hours it was a little long. Of course the drunks setting behind us kinda killed it. I know there have to be a few asses but why do they always end up behind me???????

i saw it last night in the IMAX. i thought it was very well done, did the book justice. they had to pull a few parts for the sake of time, but i don't think it detracted from the film.

i liked the alt movie ending, thought it was a nice touch.
