comes in a close second to the driving abilities of that place.

Spent all week there on business this week and I tell you the sun and heat and humidity is crazy there. And while driving down the other night I saw a person go from the far left lane to the far right side exit ramp crossing 6 lanes of traffic.
I am suprised by the small number of wrecks, only saw 3 all week and only the truck wreck on my way out of town looked bad.

But the heat and humidity of standing in a big concrete parking lot for a few days breathing carbon monoxide fumes and dehydrating and my feet and legs feel like bloody stumps.

Glad it is all over and I am back in Kentucky at my desk and I hope to sell a few today, the auction did not do as well as I had hoped.

Had dinner the other night at buckaboos steakhouse. food was average and service was not good but that was due to the amount of people there at the same time.

How do you Atlanta brothers deal with the weather and traffic or am I just getting crabby in my old age?

The humidity is bad, no doubt about that, but after living here for almost 18 years, I'm starting to get used to it. I'm originally from middle Tennessee, so I grew up with your kind of weather.

The traffic? Eh, it sucked when I first got here and has gone steadily downhill from there. Drivers range from just plain clueless to arrogant to dangerously aggressive. I had one accident as a teenager when I was a kid. But, since I moved to Atlanta, I've been in 6 accidents, none of them my fault. I've been rear-ended 5 times and sideswiped once by a city bus. I hate driving in this stupid city. :angerhead :angerhead

I remember visiting in the summer when my Aunt lived there. The weather certainly was not the greatest. The balls are definitely sticking to the sides of the legs in weather like that.

The weather.. yea it sucks but whatever.. not a big deal.. this was an odd week.. it rained for a bit every day so it made it a hell of a lot more humid than normal...

the traffic, yea well that does suck, you just gotta learn where to drive and when and how to get there..

I wished I would of been able to meetup but it was kind of a spur of the moment thing and with all the heat and humidity and the extreme pain that I am in right now made it not possible. I was wiped out at the end of the day from that shit.

I guess that is why I prefer to stay here at my office in the air conditioning and internet access.

I even tried to get online at the hotel but the desk clerk was surfing the internet on the computer and would not let me on and I was too tired to argue with her.

I stayed at the Wynngate inn in Fairburn. Just about a mile away from the adesa auction I was at.

I have been to Atlanta several times but have never got to do anything there except go to a Braves game.

The traffic in Atlanta does great things for your self esteem. Everyday that you make it home in one piece gives you a feeling of accomplishment. You should have been here this next week John. Highs in the mid 80s all week. IMHO the humidity in DC/NoVA is worse than it is in ATL, but last week was definitely a Gold Bond kind of week. Sorry we missed you.
