So many shady "charities" use high % of their funds for overhead and expenses and there's so little gov't oversight of them. Such a frustrating story.

Wow. I've donated to this charity many times. This makes me very sad, my contributions went to lavish board meetings.

Sucks to say, I am just not that surprised to read this stuff anymore. Hopefully the people stepping into the leaderships roles of this foundation will direct the money to where it is donated to go.

The whole foundation has been shady for years! I'm glad they finally started to dig into their events. I would never donate a dollar to them.

As a general rule.. I don't donate to charities set up to help wounded vets that aren't run by actual wounded vets..

Too many good organizations out there doing good things to bother with the WWP clowns

WWP also had a reputation as a bully, suing smaller charities that actually use funds for helping vets, they don't like the competition. I always try to turn people away from WWP and steer then towards the more legit charities.
