I had bikes when I was young, then when we were pregnant with my oldest son Ian, I sold my bike and got back into it in 2003, at that point, this is what I bought.

Brand new in 03

Then turned it into this

My wife has the same bike

But friends have turned the same bike into these!!!

I had the pleasure of working quite a bit on this build, I wish I could explain how freakin' cool this bike is and the amount of work that went into it. The springer front end was custom made by us, and is as far as we know, the only Suzuki Volusia with one!

Rob, enjoy the process with making your bike your own, that's as much fun as riding the damn things!

Damn those are some awesome bikes! The pictures of the last bike are bad ass! Just about my entire family rides, with the exception of myself ($$ and wife wise) and my younger bro (same reason) That'll change some day! My youngest bro just got a Gsxr 1000, that's really nice, I'm more of a chopper/old school bike guy!
Those bikes that I posted from Craigs list are ridiculously expensive! I would spend a few K on a bike, but not upwards of 20-30 thousand!

Honestly, I like the look of the custom you were looking at on craigslist the best. Its not a Harley but it looks cool. Wade's scooter is nice too.

We call bikes "scooters" where I come from. For those who never heard that.

Yeah, same here. "Scooter" in this venacular means ANY motorcycle EXCEPT a Vespa, ironically. And, those are some cool bikes, Wade. I especially like the Mad Max looking one with the tractor seat.
