As a veteran and one whose sons are currently enlisted (USMC & Army) where did I go w wrong with the Army one...

Anyway for this to happen is simply wrong.

To have this punk running around with this decorated at 26, are you kidding me? It shows the lack of focus on the part of those who are charged with ensuring our military readiness.

This guy needs to spend a little time with some real "boys".

Well, his ribbons are obviously fake, as was his entire background. Not that a 26-year-old couldn't have that many ribbons, it's certainly possible.

This is pretty sad, though. He must have had some kind of hacking skills or something to be able to adequately fake that kind of record (or taken someone else's SS#).

It's very troubling that someone could infiltrate his way into the ranks without going though proper channels. Being active duty, I'm not familiar with reserve and guard policies and procedures. There are obvious loopholes that allowed this poser to slip through the cracks. The fact that they even show a photo of this @ssclown in uniform is a slap in the face to every person who's ever served. I hope they punish him to the fullest extent of the UCMJ.

Since he is not part of the armed forces, he will not be charged or tried under the UCMJ. He will more than likely be charged with fraud by the federal government. I doubt he is even chargeable under the law passed in 2005 regaurding showing false rank and/or decoration, since that only applies to military personel.

Hopefully this impostor will be found guilty, publicly stripped of all decorations and removed from duty. Then he should be sentenced to jail.

Guys you're going about this all wrong...just leave him alone in a barracks with some real soldiers and things will "work themselves out".

I was pissed seeing him in a uniform I had to earn. I was a Marine for 7 yrs. Gulf War Veteran his ribbons was missed placed. They were not in the proper order someone should have seen this. He needs to be put in a squad bay with real Marines. Code Red still weeds out the weak ones.
