Am I above or below the curve here? In the past 2 weeks I have won 9 auctions on Cbid. 5 packs of Ancient Warriors, Doble Maduros, Dark Sumatras, Estate Seleccions, ESV Vintage '91s, a Stinky knockoff, a 50 ct caddie, some Napalese Warriors, and a CAO Ball cap........

That's it! I refuse to get back on that site for at least a couple of months....

except to check the status of my latest invoice....

oh! cool! look at those! and the bid is only at..............:pokemyeye

That place is the devil.

Although, I only get accessories from them as you can get a very good deal.

Used to visit there to pick up some accesories - key is being patient. Too many people get sucked into the "gotta win it" mode and end up bidding more than you could buy it for somewhere else.

STAY AWAY, STAY FAR AWAY.

I did the same thing thru another bid/auction site. I just do not click and visit the site anymore. Whenever I do, I visit my favorites section when I login and see what the prices are going for. 4 of 5 times I view them, I end up bidding on something, even if I do not need them. Even if I do not win the bid or even if just over the minimum amount. This falls under the addictive personality side of me.

True enough. I picked up a "stinky" knockoff for $7.00. They go for $29 at CI. Usually what I do is find the lowest internet price for an item, take 75% of that and make that my autobid max. Got my 50 ct caddie for about $40. My biggest problem seems to be a realistic assessment of need rather than an overactive competitive streak...... :hysterica

I can only imagine the credit card bills for some of you if someday there was an Hbid (Habanos Bid).

I love CBid for certain niches. Some stuff gets out of hand. I did win 3 good boxes the other day including some Padron 2000's and some Gurkhas for like 150. For my n/c stash it's a good outlet....but I always shop around as much as possible.
