I had a real bad deal the last couple days. Sunday afternoon my wife was spraying for mosquitos with malithion and accidently drenched herself. I left for work at 4:30 am Monday like I normally do then received a call at work from my daughter that mom was very sick and could not move with severe chest pain and severe dizziness. Her heart rate was down to 38!
Luckily my wife was able to get the phone by the bed and call my daughter who is an EMT and on the volunteer Fire Dept.
The daughter drove the ambulance the hour to the hospital and I arrived about the same time.
Long story short, they treated her for poisoning but felt it was her heart and admitted her into the cardiac care unit to monitor her through the night and perform a stress test the next morning. The doctor said we could have lost her with that heart rate and lack of response. The stress test was good....no heart problem so it had to be the insecticide poisoning.
She is doing better, but still out of it a little.
Your thoughts for her would be appreciated as I have seen it work here many times.

Damn Mike, I wish the wife a speedy recovery. Hope her respiratory system gets back in order soon.

On another note, that local fire dept. must know your address pretty well now huh! Unfortunately, your address may have a high percentage of calls this year.

My thoughts and prayers to you and your wife Mike. Glad to hear the heart is strong. Knowing you for just a short time I figured that had to be true for you and your family anyway.
