BoM Sept. 05
I had a real bad deal the last couple days. Sunday afternoon my wife was spraying for mosquitos with malithion and accidently drenched herself. I left for work at 4:30 am Monday like I normally do then received a call at work from my daughter that mom was very sick and could not move with severe chest pain and severe dizziness. Her heart rate was down to 38!
Luckily my wife was able to get the phone by the bed and call my daughter who is an EMT and on the volunteer Fire Dept.
The daughter drove the ambulance the hour to the hospital and I arrived about the same time.
Long story short, they treated her for poisoning but felt it was her heart and admitted her into the cardiac care unit to monitor her through the night and perform a stress test the next morning. The doctor said we could have lost her with that heart rate and lack of response. The stress test was good....no heart problem so it had to be the insecticide poisoning.
She is doing better, but still out of it a little.
Your thoughts for her would be appreciated as I have seen it work here many times.
