Never had one before and just came into possession of two boxes. I'm gonna smoke one now and age one for a few years in a ziploc.

well, smoked one today. These still need to sit for a bit and stablize before I can give an accurate opinion I think. They were a bit wet it seems. The burn and smoke volume was great but it is a little harsh, the cuban taste is def there even along with some of the signature Partagas profile. This cigar is best served as a quick smoke or one that you don't mind tossing if you have to run. I wouldn't run out to fill my humi with them as there are much better options such as the MF and PCE or Short.

They're okay. I'd rather have a short.
As would I, by many orders of magnitude! I will give them a shot again in a month when they have dried a bit. I also think the marca lends to higher expectations. I think that if I unbanded one and gave it to you and said " JLP" you'd say "great JLP!". Anyhoo, I ended up with them so I will just have to find the ideal situation to smoke them in!

Not a bad smoke and age does them wonders I've had a few boxes of these bought a box when I started smoking and had a few gifted to me. I don't mind this smoke specially with age it mellows out and gives off a lot more flavour but its not something I will see on the shelf and buy but not a bad smoke for some one getting into the habit.
