Hey guys,

What are your takes on this year's reservas vs reservas of the past years? I think the 7th reserva is a little bit muddled in flavor right now (hopefully it will change with time) and the Petit Cazadores Reservas blew me away (reminded me of the Regios Reserva). Can you imagine if Pete were to make a Cazadores Reserva in a Lancero size?

i just grabbed a 7th reserva and 7th this weekend.
the 7th was lackluster IMO. Holding off on smoking the reserva for now...

I am with you...out of everything released in 2k10 I would have to say the 7th was the least impressive to me. Don't get me wrong...it was a great stick...but with the hype from everyone else...I expexcted a bit more. But overall I would lump this years releases together and say one helluva good one! I have really enjoyed everything that has come out. The PCR is just a mind blower for that size of a stick! Lancero with same flavor profile would be awesome...especially since I do find my self smoking two back to back;)

I am not one who attempts to discern certain flavors from cigars while I smoke, don't take notes etc....just know a good stick when I smoke one.

I thought the 7th Reserva was very similar overall to the PCR that I've smoked (thanks again to Starz26 for that opportunity). In addition, the 7th is a vitola I'd much prefer to smoke......but both were indeed excellent smokes, and a couple of the best I'd had this year for sure.

If I ever were to buy a box of PC's....the Tat PCR would be head and shoulders above anything else on my list....to include CC's.

So far, my favorite has been the Petite Cazadore Reserva. I've had two 7th Reservas from my box. One was great, the other was muted. I'm hoping some time will bring them out.

I thought the 7th Reserva was pretty good but not nearly as good as the Reserva Regios or Noellas. The Petite Cazadores however are a different story. I think they are absolutely stellar.

Just like the NHC limitada reserva, the 7th reserva is going to be at it's best in about 3-4 months. At least that's my prediction. :) The cazzy is delicious right now!

Yeah, there are so many great flavors in the 7th Reserva and NHC's that they will be absolutely great with a little downtime. I like them now, but time will only help...

Tell you my experience. I was blown away by the Petite Cazadores... hadn't been able to find a box... I read a review of the 7th reserva, smoked one, and immediately found/bought a box! Very smooth, creamy, and in my opinion flavorful stick that builds in strength as it goes...

Now on the other hand the PCR is a powerhouse from light to nub! Amazing little smoke... i would love to see this blend in a corona!

All the new broadleaf coming out imho hasn't been as good as the original noella and regios reservas or the old blend El Triunfador.
