in the mail today came the SI swimsuit edition. i don't subscribe to SI, but every now and then they send free copies to the office to entice me to buy. i very quickly leafed through it, and it seemed that there was an ad page for every page that had a girl in a swimsuit. it was ridiculous.
i'm assuming since there has been no mention here on the site as of yet, that this is not a very big deal anymore. with the advances in the internet i guess you can get your entertainment there anytime you want. just kind of sad that a real institution has lost it's luster.

I know what you mean! And did you read the cost that they dump into those shoots? (yes it is that bad that actually read something rather than looking at pics) You would figure that even with advertisements, it would be a hard profit to break. Could be one of those things that may not survive the economy.
