I'm about to make an order to resupply my currently depleted humidor. Any suggestions? I'm still relatively new to the world of cigar smoking. (Going on two years)

I'm open to anything from mild/medium to full bodied. I'm a big coffee nut and have never had a bad experience with cigars that have a hint of nutty coffee/mocha. . Your input will be greatly appreciated!

First off, thanks for your service!

As far as smokes - any and everything Pepin! If I was going to make an order of everday smokes right now, I'd go with Pepin blue or JJ, Tat Angeles or Noella, La Riqueza #5, Illusione 68 or CG:4 and to change it up a bit a box of Oliva V belicoso or Padron 2000 maduro.

a rather inexpensive coffee cigar is the el mejor espresso. There's the tatiana mocha or Drew Estate Java which are actually infused with mocha/coffee flavor if I'm not mistaken if that's your style.

There are coffee and mocha flavors in a LOT of cigars. CBL maduros tend to generally give you a lot of mocha. But so do a lot of other cigars. Coffee - there are so many...

what have you tried and what do you like. That would help us narrow it down a bit for you.

Can't go wrong with some Pepin samplers! Oliva & Comacho regularly have economic samplers too. (LFD, AF, Padron are always tasty!) I'd stear clear of the Ghurka & RP stuff - but that's just me - many guys like their stuff..

There are some excellent 5-star samplers at CI, pick two for $40, plus I think they offer free shipping to APOs (I'm not 100% sure on that one though).

Check out Black Dog coffee too: it supports a sponsor, plus they make some really excellent, fresh-roasted coffee!

You boys burned through all those sticks we sent already? Whenever I go to reorder I will order a few 5 packs of new smokes, and then a box or two of smokes that I know I love.

I actually only took one of the cigars from that box. (The Tat ;) ) I didn't feel right taking any more than that since I can afford my own out here. Most of those went to the enlisted guys. But yeah they went fast. I still need to grab a picture this morning of the box and a few of us. Sorry I keep forgetting. I'm on 2000-0800 so the whole night shift thing makes it hard to get a good group photo together.

Thanks everyone for the suggestions! I've tried the Java and it was probably just a little too sweet for my taste. It was still decent but I don't think the whole infused thing is my bag. I'll order a 5er of a few of those suggested names. The Tat Angeles sounds right up my alley too. That Tat tubo Jason sent me was actually my first and I think I'm already hooked haha. I got to try a few Oliva a while back too with a sampler I ordered from CI. Seemed like an excellent deal for the price.

As far as Gurkha I've only tried a handful and have yet to be impressed. They all seem pretty dull, and have never left me thinking that I might want to try another one in the future.

As far as ordering goes I've always gone with CI out here as they seem to have an outstanding shipping speed, and I've never had any issues with the quality of the product I recieve.

As far as CCs go... I'm ashamed to admit I've never had a legit one. I think I'm finally at the point where I may start venturing into them. Perhaps it's time lol.

If you haven't had a Gurkha Blue Steel then I highly recommend picking up at least a few - they're one Gurkha that has really impressed me.

I also recommend IT Fires, La Herencia Cubanas, and Nestor Reserves - they've consistently impressed me and they're not all that expensive.

LHO Lites and Lho IIIs from holts are 40 a bundle and made by Pepin for holts. Long filler slight coffee notes. They are a steal a 2 bucks a piece.

For budget friendly smokes, look for Flor De Oliva and Padron Londres
I'll second the Padron Londres, and I also smoke a lot of the Cortico size when I'm in theater. Good 25 minute smoke with a cup of coffee in the morning. I also like the Tat Petites for another great smoke with a cup.

Thanks for your service brother!!
Well you really cant go wrong with a Padron or Camacho however a cigar I find goes good with everything is the Graycliff 1666. Not a bad price and great taste. I smoke that in the pirate(torpedo).

Awesome. So far I'm looking at picking up a box of Padron Londres, LHO IIIs, and I just put in an order for some Cohiba Maduro 5 Secretos that a friend recommended. He said they're one of the best 30-45 minute smokes he's ever had. Anyone ever happen to try one?

*edit: My biggest problem is that I tend to be extremely generous with my cigars out here. I always catch myself giving them away when outside at work on my smoke break and people are joining me hahaha. That's probably why I go through them so quickly.

My next question is that since it will most likely take the cigars a maximum of 20 days to make it here (Since it's APO they have to be mailed to the states first then back over seas) is there anything special I should do or worry about? I'm guessing the best thing to do is at least let them rest in the humi for a week or two.

Just finished my final order. A box of Padron Londres, 10 x Monte #4, and 10 x Cohiba Maduro 5. Looks like I'm having an early Christmas haha.
