Tips on longboard cigar grip tape art

I got a longboard for getting to and from my b&m from my parking space (I park pretty far). Seeing as how it was a blank deck, I decided to use colored grip tape to make it look like a cigar. I'm mostly satisfied, but still feel like it's missing something. Anyone have any recommendations? I'm just using colored grip tape and havent looked into paint yet.

It has a band on the back that says 2016 edicion limitada. I was gonna out Habana, Cuba on it but the original plan was to make it a barber pole, and I need to have some accuracy

It's a 5-10 minute walk. Not too bad, but its like a 40 second longboard ride
